Atlanta-based R&B quartet Cherish debuted in 2003 with the single "Miss P." produced by Jermaine Dupri. They had inked a deal with Warner Bros. imprint Ashanti Records, but for undisclosed reasons, their first release, The Moment, was shelved and never saw the light of day.
